Ready for a wonderful week?

We had a wonderful Sunday filled with worship and bible study. Both the sermon and lesson during the Bible Study really made us think, and I hope to apply to my life. The sermon talked about the scripture from Mark 5:21 - 43. It was from the point of view of the father who daughter was dieing, and how long it took for Jesus to get to the daughter. Although the little girl was dead when Jesus got there, that was His plan the whole time. It reminded me that I forget that God is in control. There may be MANY distractions, hold ups, delays, and frustration but that God timing is best and I should just wait on Him, because when all the plans, paperwork and patience come together, God will be glorified and that's the way it is suppose to be. No questions asked, and that one of the parts I struggle with. The WHY questions? The WHEN question? and The HOW questions? That is when I will remember how much Jairus (Mark 5:21 - 43) went through, all the questions Why his daughter was dieing, When was Jesus going to stop talking to everyone else and go to his daughter, and when they got there How was Jesus going to "fix" what had happen. The sermon really brought a lot of things into perspective for me, in my life and during the process of adoption. Thank you Lord, and Pastor B for bringing that message. I am so ready for this week and what it has in store for me....... Hope you are as well.

He took her by the hand and said "Talitha Koum!"
(which means "Little girl, I say to you, get up!")
immediately the girl stood up and walked around.
at this they were astonished.
Mark 5:41-42

Update on Saturday...... We went out had a wonderful lunch at one of our favorite restaurant in Enid...... Garcia's! We shopped very little because Kaylee and her friend had decided to make Sugar Cookies. What a project! We bought the ingredients, and planned the evening! We are off to the house to make cookies with one stop on the way. KC had not meet our pastors and his wife little girl yet. So we stopped by their house and played with JF and had a wonderful visit with the rest of the family. We came home and had grilled pork chops and made sugar cookies. It was a lot of fun and the cookies were wonderful......
