Fingerprints Appt.

I am so excited to report that we have an appointment for our fingerprints. We were very surprised when we got our letter in the mail on Thursday saying that our appt. was on April 28th. We must start our dossier which needs to be ready to send to China. Our dossier is ALL documentation necessary to put us in line for a referral from the Shared Agency Waiting Child List. We will send our paperwork to Lifeline (Our Agency) to have authenticated then forward to CCAA (China Center for Adoption Affairs) or DTC (Dossier To China). Ten days or so after DTC we will be logged in (LID or Log In Date), which will be an official landmark in the paper process. This means a lot of things for us. Still no timeline in mind, just letting God led us through these steps. We also already started on grant applications. We have almost completed one and we have a application ready to be filled out waiting for us. I know that there is some times when waiting is harder than others, this is the one time that we have so much to do that the days go by really fast and sneak up on us. So I must keep in mind that I am still a mom, but also work on things to bring home our third daughter. It is amazing to me how you can love someone you have never even seen, but trust me it is possible. I do it everyday!!!!!

We are waiting on a few letters and we will have all the paperwork ready to be mailed. For anyone who is interested in a grant as well go to www.showhope.org and apply! Thank you Lord for you giving us these resources to apply to. Will keep all of you posted to the outcome of this grant.

Sleepy!!!!

Much sleep needed in the Mueller's home. After a long morning, we headed to 1 of 6 games total yesterday. My girls are both playing softball. With a schedule conflict in the way we had two game to be at, at the same time. We choose Kaylee because it was her first game ever, not just the first game of the season. They lost the first game and won the second game! WTG Lady Devils! Now onto Ashley's games........ In a tournament in Enid our girls were winning......... That streak changed just a little when we played our 4th game of the night, hoping to win, but very cold and probably extremely tired. We lost but it was our first lost, so now we start our 5th game. Playing the same team, who was on a roll, we played our best and took 2nd in the tournament...... Woo Hoo girls I am so proud of you! You played great, and as a team! The night was not over for some girls........ When we pulled into our garage, it was 11:45 pm and Ashley had a good hour of studying ahead of her. This is when I see the determination in my daughter, and desire to do her best. Yes she did stay up and study, I know myself would have went to bed. Congratulations to the Jr. High and High School girls softball teams for many well played games and win's to be proud of!

Now lets hope I can function today!

"Legacy"

"Legacy" by Nicole Nordeman

I want to leave a legacy
How will they remember me?
Did I choose to love?
Did I point to You enough To make a mark on things?
I want to leave an offering
A child of mercy and grace who
blessed your name unapologetically
And leave that kind of legacy

This morning through the very difficult service for our superintendent, I could not stop thinking of this song. Our beloved Mr. J was very loved, respected, trusted, reliable, and knew Jesus as his personal savior. When asked to describe Mr. J, Kaylee and her friend Kacie said "Awesome and very cool"! So I am very sure that Mr. J has left a legacy, and that legacy rest in Jesus Christ and seen by so many! Mr. J you were very much loved and will be missed.

UPDATES~

ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more
Wow one more mile stone........ Our paperwork arrived at CIS last Wednesday!!!! No excuses for why I am just now blogging! After a few mishaps with our home study, we finally had all that we need, and then with a few mishaps on my part, we were finally organized and sent it off on Tuesday of last week. We are waiting for contact from CIS and an appointment for our fingerprints. Things are rolling and I must get organized. We are also starting to fill our Grants for help toward our adoption process. Yet we also feel that the Lord will provide all that we need no matter what that amount He chooses to give us. We are very excited to be were we are right now, and will continue to wait patiently!!! Although some days that is harder than others. :) There is so much that we have learned during an adoption process, about God first and then ourselves, and the government, he he, and our child who was chosen for us! Lord, we are daily putting our faith in you, knowing that you are in control and your plans are perfect. May we continue to rest in your arms, knowing you will never leave us!

Announcing Dates to our upcoming Garage Sale.......... We have decided to have the garage sale on May 1st and 2nd. It will still be in Enid, and all proceeds will go to the Johnson's and ours adoption process. If there is anything you would like to donate please give me a call, your donations would be much appreciated. We invite all of you to come and shop, you know that the economy is hurting, so why not save money and shop the garage sales...... lol NO really we would love to see you!

Also would like to share what has been on my heart for many months now, even more than a year. The Lord has been asking, telling, speaking to my heart for awhile now to do a Bible Study in my home. I have been very reluctant to do this for lack of self confidence. I am reminded many times from Him that He wants me to do this, and I have reminded Him of how scared I am. In my quiet time this morning He shared with me, that I was His child and He would help me through anything that was presented. I can teach Youth, but I am so scared to teach Adults. So to keep myself accountable to what the Lord said to me, I am announcing that I will be holding a Bible Study in my home. I have for sure chosen Beth Moore as the curriculum for the Bible Study. After research, picking the day and time, and choosing what fabulous study from Beth Moore we will do, I will contact all those in my home town area, and post about it as well. I ask that you pray for me, for my fears, my uncertainty, and lack of confidence. I do believe that it is not all about me, to make it all about Him I need to be right were He wants me.

Our hearts go out to the family of our beloved Super Intendent. We are completely sorry for the loss of him, our prayers go to "B" and the family. I must say that Mr. J was a light in the community and especially in our school. He will be missed, because he was an example to those students, his administration, and family. He was an awesome man that loved his job and those students of Ringwood High. May we come together as a school and do all that we can do for this family and may we learn from his example. Our prayers are with you!

Announcing a Fundraiser:

Letting everyone know that I along with Connie are planning a Garage Sale, Fundraiser! Date to be announced soon, but we will have it in Enid. Very excited, to be doing a garage sale again. Really I am, because I love garage sales almost as much as I love painting. Already (a few months ago) started gathering stuff, oh I mean treasures, for this fundraiser. You should see my garage! Also want to thank the "L" for helping as well and gathering stuff. Who would have guessed the we would be having a garage sale for The Johnson's and The Mueller's at the same time..... Woo Hoo, I am so excited!

A Weekend To Remember

I am so excited to be going to "A Weekend to Remember". David and I will be leaving for this event tommorow, with another couple! When I say a weekend, I mean a weekend. We leave on Friday and return on Sunday! I even heard from the other couple that going, and she said that we have a "Date Night" on Saturday. I am looking forward to learning more things to apply in our marriage, and things that I need to work on. The time spent together, will be cherished and "thanks" to my family who are keeping my girls. They are very excited about that too! You all have a wonderful weekend as well.

Spring Break = Decorating

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Spring Break. Ours has been consistently busy. We started with our Youth Retreat, splitting our guys and gals to separate homes. Connie and I had the girls at my house, and we had a very awesome lesson, with lots of discussion. We also enjoyed a lot of food, laughs, and girl talk. I feel it was a great success.

Next the Youth group has been working on decorating the Youth room for years now, I do mean years. Here recently they formed a committee (because we are Baptist) and came up with a plan of action. The committee presented it to our church and it was approved. So what better time to start decorating, but Spring Break. Most of the youth was able to help during different times of the process. We started on Monday with the shopping and much to my surprise the Youth wanted to start that day, I was hoping to wait until Tuesday morning. We did start and was able to prep work for two walls, and that helped with the next day. The Youth chose some wild but awesome colors. They also went with a focal wall much like one you would see in a youth room, or any teenager room. Will I am happy to report that the Youth room is done........ We finished it yesterday around 9:00 pm! I want to say thank you to all who was there to help or was praying for us through this process! We could have not done it with out all of you. To the youth I was so proud of you, you showed perseverance, excitement, patience, and motivation, it took all of those to finish this awesome room! Take a look at what they did..........
First thing first..... Must draw on wall!

Ashley...... A heart~

Kaylee...... A smile~

Austin....... Art on the wall, not the face~

Friday, March 13, 2009

WOO HOO!!!!!

The Lord is so Good!

When I woke up this morning and I checked my email, I was so excited that we had our home study. Next thing to do is read it over and send back the corrections for the final draft. Wow, I have so much to do today to prepare for a retreat with the Youth at my house today and tomorrow, but I have a feeling the youth will have to sit in a dirty house and eat off of dirty dishes, and will possibly have no food....... Just kidding, but I have added one more thing to the list today! READ HOME STUDY

This just proves that not all Friday the 13th are bad......... Love you all have a great day!

Sorry so short, have so many things to do!

Random Thoughts

Good Morning......

Many random thoughts for today. I will start with the resent trip to Texas with my husband. We had a wonderful time, and shared some wonderful memories. David's company is so giving, and let me come to the dinner on Tuesday, also share a beautiful hotel room at the Hyatt. The dinner was at the Lonesome Dove restaurant. The chef was a winner of the Iron Chef America. Wonderful food!!!!!!! A chocolate dessert to die for...... We stayed at the Fort Worth Stockyards and was a reminder of Branson, China, and San Antonio combined. They have a live cattle drive every day, we caught one of them on Thursday before we left. The trip was great for David and I, much time to spend together, and it reminds me how much we are blessed to have a wonderful company that David works for. XTO treats the employees so well, and we are thankful for this blessing that the Lord has given us. Thank you to my parents for keeping the girls for this time. They really had a great time, and loved the coloring.

The Hyatt @ Fort Worth Stockyards

The Stock Yards of the past, now a museum.

"Main Street" filled with shopping and restaurants

The Cattle Drive, don't want my car on the road when this happens!

What did I say, some major damage to a car!!!

We never seen him, but we have reasons to believe that Randy Travis was staying at our hotel

Another Blessing......

While we were gone, during youth, my girls were able to demonstrate the washing of the feet. My girls were chosen to demonstrate the act of washing someones feet. The act of service and what it means. I am really excited for them to and love to see their relationship with the Lord so evident in their lives.

Girls at Youth!

I love you girls.

Adoption Update:

We are very aware of God's timing........ I am reminding myself every day that Gods timing is best, and that He is in ALL the details. We have been told that our home study would be done in a couple of weeks, much to our surprise it had not been started. We are trying to be very patient, and wait on His timing and details that He has worked out. Please pray for my attitude and time frame of our Home Study.

You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
John 15:14-15
~Dont forget the drawing to end on Wednesday~
