Wow, shopping, shopping, and more shopping.

Imagine my surprise when we actually walked into this mall. I felt like I was at the Mall of America (or the Mall of China) It was so big, and so many stores I don't know how you could do any kind of shopping and compare prices. Even I was overwhelmed. Now the food court was a different experience also. You were seated at at table, and then was handed a menu (which we could not read at all), then all the food court type restaurants surrounded the tables, ( not sonic or taco bell) and they would go get what you wanted and bring it to you. Very fancy, I must say. I did buy alot of souvenirs here at the mall, our guide is so knowledgeable on the best price with the best quality. WTG Rebecca. Connie bought some clothes and shoes for her kids, and some special gifts herself. I really don't know how to put it into words, except that I hope we go back and hopefully I will be more prepared. We did see a McDonald's, Pappa Johns, and KFC. We did not eat there, but we do hope to order pizza tonight.

Kaeleb is doing really good in my eyes. Connie is wondering about the bonding, but she also said that she wonders if she doesn't remember if it was the same for the girls. He is playing now, and laughing, handing things to mom and dad. Something special for me is that every time he sees me he put his fingers out for me to pretend to suck on. I know it could be gross for some, but very special to me. He is still not sitting in a high chair, but Connie doesn't seem to mind holding him. lol

Please pray for tomorrow (Saturday for us), for we are visiting Kaeleb's orphanage. Connie is praying that Kaeleb will want her for comfort when the nannies take him. I see big changes in him today and I know that the God we serve is bigger than this and He will answer our prayers. Enjoy the pictures and I will talk to you all real soon. Love you, and I send a big hug from China to all.

Inside of the mall, looks overwhelming doesn't it...... I cant believe that I got a picture with nobody in the picture. There is people everywhere, even though it doesn't look like it in the picture.

Six floors, and I could not get them all in the picture.
This is the outside of the mall, even more stores, and it goes on even further between the buildings.
Yeah McDonald's, we didn't eat there though.
This was across the way from McDonald's, KFC and Pappa Johns.
This is the center of the food court. I told you it was really fancy.

OMG! When it comes to "shopping"...I think you finally met your match. LOL! This is huge! I thought Americans were the masters of shopping...but I might want to re-think that.

It was nice to see "icons" like McDonald's, KFC...etc. The food court at the mall is an experience by itself. So much different that our malls.

So glad you are "experiencing" everything China has to offer. It truly sounds like a "moment in time" that you will never forget.

Love forever and ever and ever and ever....MOM
